Program Information
The annual National Fleet Conference represents the Association’s and the industry’s most valuable educational and networking forum in the calendar year. The program, aimed at Fleet Managers from all segments and all sizes and makeup of Fleets, addresses a range of topics from environment to safety, from legislation to strategic planning, from cost management to vehicle selection and utilisation. It is a program designed by the Members for the Members. Mr. Conomos is one of Australia’s most successful and charismatic automotive industry leaders. Mr. Conomos joined Toyota in 1981, where he was deeply involved in the growth and development of the Japanese car giant. His accession through the company was swift resulting in his appointment to Senior Executive Vice President of Toyota Motor Corporation Australia in 1993. In March 2006, Mr. Conomos was appointed President of the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI). After retiring from Toyota in 2008, Mr. Conomos was appointed Automotive Industry Envoy by Senator the Hon Kim Carr, Minister for Innovation, Industry, Science and Research. |
Mr. Whyte is the founding Managing Director of Fleet Audits Ltd, the specialist Consultancy providing a wide range of services to fleet operators. Stewart has been fully involved in the fleet industry in the UK for more than 40 years, mostly in senior management positions. He has a detailed knowledge of all aspects of business mobility operations, including vehicle selection and specification, funding options, fuel economy and management, maintenance, employee management, road safety, insurance, driver and employer taxation, and data collection, analysis and management reporting. |
