Legislative Update: Chain of Responsibility and Grey Fleet

If you're unsure about either CoR or Grey Fleet liabilities, then this is the session for you. Both speakers will be providing an insight on these two issues that every Fleet Manager, COO and CEO need to know to mitigate risk, run safer fleets and make South Australian roads safer.

Who Should Attend

Fleet Managers, Chief Operations Officers, Chief Executive Officers or anyone involved with the management, risk management or legislative compliance of fleet. This session will be ideal for those who may not directly manage a fleet, but need to understand the wider legislative implications of its operations.

Brett Staker

Team Leader - Senior Investigator, Transport Safety Compliance at the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure

Brett will present on:

- who is in the CoR

- how they are in the CoR

- taking reasonable steps

- documented policies and procedures

Brett has had extensive experience in compliance and enforcement, as well as the implementation and education about changes to CoR and heavy vehicle legislation.

Tim Roberts

Principal Consultant for FleetStrategy and Acting Executive Director for AfMA

From 1994 – 2012, Tim played an integral role in the development of one of Australia’s most successful privately owned fleet management companies operating in all states and territories of Australia.

Tim is currently the principal consultant for fleetstrategy and brings nearly two decades of commercial fleet management and leasing experience.
