Just to be on the safe side - Legislation affecting Fleet Management

This first fleet forum for 2013 will cover the most recent addition to the law family, the new 'Heavy Vehicle National Law'. This presentation will help to bring some perspective as to how best to navigate current legislation, and it's impact on an Organisation's transport activities.

Fleet Managers, Procurement Managers, Chief Operations Officers, Chief Financial Officers or anyone involved with the management and/or maintenance of fleet vehicles.

Speakers

Ken Thompson, AfMA

Ken Thompson is AfMA's Director of Research and Communications, and is one of the foremost experts in vehicle safety in Australia. He is currently a representative on Standard’s Australia Road Safety Management Committee and has presented at the American National Association of Fleet Administrators national conference.

Quenten Shepherd, Centacare QLD

Quenten will be covering Legislative Requirements; by piecing together what you should know, and some of the things that you may not, with regard to legal requirements and complying with relevant legislation.
