President:

Donna Robertson
Johnson & Johnson

Donna Robertson has been the Fleet Manager at Johnson & Johnson for the past 15 years with a portfolio of over 700 vehicles .  Driver safety is important to Johnson & Johnson and Donna has been a committed member of the company’s Safe Fleet Council for the Asia Pacific region. as well as at local level.

Tim Roberts
EasiFleet Mangement Group

Tim has been involved with the automotive and fleet management professions for over 14 years, he is a Director of numerous companies including Easifleet Management. Tim’s expertise lies in the ability to think strategically and identify, develop and implement systems and processes to meet the demands of growing businesses. Tim is an accredited quality auditor, licensed finance broker and is well recognised for his conciliatory nature and service focused business practices.

 

Treasurer:

Brendan Stooke
Telstra Fleet

Brendan has worked with Telstra for 27 years and has headed up Telstra's Fleet Business unit for the last 4 years. Prior to working in Telstra's Fleet area, Brendan has held a number of positions in Telstra in the finance area.

Secretary:

John Boland
Logistics Bureau

John Boland is a fleet management consultant with many years of experience in the challenges of managing a large diverse fleet. He believes in having a sound fleet strategy based on business needs, a thorough understanding of the risk profile and operating environment together with effective reporting and analysis. He is a professional Mechanical Engineer and he has completed a program at the Harvard Business School.

Committee Members:

Jack Haley
NRMA

Jack has a Mechanical Engineering Degree and a Diploma in Environmental Studies.  He has been with NRMA for 17 years where he has been responsible for developing policy on vehicle environmental and safety engineering issues and for presenting these policies in the media.

Darren Wishart
CARRS-Q

Darren is Program Manager - Fleet Safety with CARRS-Q and has considerable experience in fleet related research and consultancy. He has some 13 years management experience in the private business sector and has operated as an organisational consultant to both public and private sector clients. He is currently involved in a number of fleet safety research projects with industry and has rapidly gained credibility within the fleet sector.  Since joining CARRS-Q Darren has steadily developed a successful portfolio of fleet research and is a chief investigator on three current ARC industry linkage grants. Darren is also the current Qld Chapter Chair of AfMA.

Rob Ackland
Flinders University

Rob has worked in defence, government and business at the executive level in diverse and challenging roles.  This experience has provided him with high-level skills in project management, logistics/procurement including the negotiation of quite complex contracts, business analysis and re-engineering, process improvement and the implementation of a range of technologies. Rob has a strong background in OHS&W and risk management and is a qualified workplace trainer and assessor. He provides nationally accredited 4WD training and driver education to business and recreational 4WD users and also provided driver risk assessment profiling services to commercial clients Rob has a Masters of Business Administration from the University of South Australia and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Comany Directors.


Nic Tanner
Launceston City Council

After 30 years in the private business sector covering an extreme range of professional activities, Nic then moved into Fleet Management just over 16 years ago. His vast field of expertise covers analysis, risk management and business modelling, these he believes to be the basis and the future of successful Fleet Management. Along with the normal fascinating challenges of fleet management, Nic has also been privileged to have acquired an extensive knowledge of safety, and the now topical environmental issues confronting both the immediate and distant future of fleet management.
