Alan Reed, Manager Fleet and Plant Branch - Toowoomba City Council
Alan has over 20 year’s fleet management experience where he has managed diverse fleets in all three levels of government and in the private sector. Alan played a major role in the establishment of commercialised fleet management businesses in the Commonwealth, State and Local Governments.
Tim Roberts, Director - Easifleet Management
Tim Roberts joined Easifleet Management in 1994 and immediately set about defining and implementing the systems and quality processes that have allowed Easifleet to grow so successfully, particularly as a manager of government fleets requiring a high degree of strategic planning and reporting. Tim has been closely involved with AFMA for quite some years and served as National President of the Association from 2001 -2003 and 2005-2007.
David Robjent, CEO – Grey Advantage Consulting
Prior to establishing Grey Advantage Consulting in 2007, David was a senior partner with Ernst & Young for 9 years. He has extensive experience as a government business advisor on a wide variety of outsourcing and market testing programs, both in Australia and Overseas.
Mark Stevenson, National Sales Manager - Aerial Access
Mark has thirty years experience in marketing and business development, working with all levels of government, commercial organizations and the private sector.
David Threlfall, Head of Commercial Fleet – National Australia Bank
David has over 25 years experience in the industry. He was involved in the establishment of a JV truck fleet management and rental business between Linfox and Esanda and more recently the National Australia Bank Commercial Fleet which was purchased by Fleet Australia in November 2007.
Doug Tyler, Director of Financial Operations - Department of Treasury and Finance
Doug, in addition to running State Fleet, the WA government's commercially based fleet business, manages a $3 billion investment portfolio as well as the Treasury’s accounting and financing operations.
John Walker, Managing Director – Thrifty
John is an entrepreneur and change specialist. For the past ten years he has been the managing director of Thrifty in Australia. In 2006, he bought the Thrifty Company from Mitsubishi Motors Australia Limited in conjunction with NRMA Motoring & Services. The Thrifty network manages a peak fleet of over 13,000 vehicles.
Paul Wild, National Fleet & Equipment Manager – TNT Express
Paul has been involved in vehicle and fleet engineering as a consultant with the NSW RTA and with TNT. He has a BSc (Eng) from the University of Newcastle, a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management from the University of New
England and is a Member of the Institution of Engineers.
Ben Wilson, Product Manager Business Motoring – Intelematics Australia Ltd.
Ben is responsible for leading the development and ongoing management of Intelematics’ Fleet telematics product portfolio and has been instrumental in the development of the GM FleetView fleet telematics program.
Dr John Wormald, Managing Partner - autoPOLIS
John provides strategic analysis and advice to companies in the world automotive industry, including manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, financial institutions and government agencies. John co-authored “Time for a Model Change - Re-engineering the global automotive industry” which examines the worldwide automotive industry.
