2008 Awards Nomination Criteria
Criteria for Nominations for AfMA’s Awards:
AfMA’s Fleet Manager of the Year award is granted to an individual demonstrating excellence in the field of Fleet Management.
The Fleet Safety and Fleet Environment Awards are awarded to an organisation demonstrating best practice in their respective field. All nominations are considered by an independent panel of judges.
In determining whether or not to nominate a fleet manager or organisation for these awards, consider the following:
- Any initiatives or innovative practices or systems they may have introduced in the areas of environment or safety;
- Any difficulties they may have overcome in implementing these initiatives;
- The outcomes of those initiatives and how they benefit the community or provide strategic or financial benefits to the organisation;
- The applicability or adaptability of those initiatives to other fleets;
- The availability and willingness to share those experiences with others.
Once nominations are received, each nominee will be required to submit supporting information to be reviewed by the Awards Selection Committee.
